William Quidgeon Jr., a direct descendant of the Tantaquidgeon family, was first elected to the Tribal Council in 2005 and served as the Council’s Treasurer from 2005 to 2009. He was a Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment Audit Committee member from 2005 to 2019. Quidgeon initially held a management position in the Engineering Department for Mohegan Sun. He later became a Senior Project Manager for the Mohegan Tribal Development Department overseeing the build out of phase two project Sun Burst. Throughout his years of working for his Tribe he has always been a strong advocate for diversification and has sat on many boards. Quidgeon currently resides in Uncasville, CT along with his wife, Elizabeth.
