Uncasville, Connecticut, October 16, 2025 – Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (“Mohegan”) is governed by a nine-member Management Board, whose members also comprise the Mohegan Tribal Council (the “Tribal Council”), the governing body of the Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut (the “Tribe”). Any change in the composition of the Tribal Council results in a corresponding change in Mohegan’s Management Board. The registered voters of the Tribe elect all members of the Tribal Council.

On August 31, 2025, the Tribe announced the results of a general election wherein five of the nine seats on the Tribal Council were chosen pursuant to staggered term provisions in the Tribe’s Constitution. Each of these elected Tribal Council members will serve a four-year term, commencing October 6, 2025.

James Gessner Jr., Sarah E. Harris, and Mark F. Brown are re-elected members of the Tribal Council. Charles Lawrence Harris Jr. and Terry Ann Hammel succeed William Quidgeon Jr. and Kenneth Davison, who did not seek re-election. Mohegan is not aware of any material related transactions between the newly elected Tribal Council members and Mohegan. Information regarding the committees of the Management Board to which the newly elected Tribal Council members are named will be provided after the members are seated on any such committees.
