[Monday, November 18, 2024 – Incheon, South Korea] Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort (President Chen Si, “Mohegan INSPIRE ” or ” INSPIRE “) presents a diverse lineup of performances to light up the festive year-end and New Year’s holidays.

To begin with, the ‘INSPIRE Concert Series,’ produced and organized by INSPIRE, will bring global artists to Korea for the first time in a long time. Following the already announced stars of the fourth and fifth performances of the series, OneRepublic and KYGO, Grammy-awarded DJ and producer ZEDD, has newly been confirmed as the sixth artist of the series. In addition, Melon Music Awards(MMA), the awards show that marked the opening of the INSPIRE Arena last December; 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon, the year-end TV music show; and 2024 SBS Trot Daejeon will also be held at the arena. The J-pop sensations YOASOBI and Naniwa Danshi will also be performing in Korea for the first time at INSPIRE Arena, and the K-pop boy group BOYNEXTDOOR will also be holding their first solo concert at the arena, enriching the lineup and scale even further for a global audience.

As the fourth to sixth lineup of INSPIRE’s own concert series, OneRepublic, the pop rock band led by the star producer Ryan Tedder, will perform on Saturday, January 18, 2025, the ‘EDM superstar’ KYGO on Friday, February 28, and the Grammy-awarded multi-platinum hit song maker DJ and producer ZEDD on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

OneRepublic is known for their diverse sound, ranging from lyrical songs with strings to high-energy songs with electronic elements, and has numerous hits including ‘Apologize,’ ‘Counting Stars,’ and ‘I Ain’t Worried,’ the soundtrack of the movie ‘Top Gun: Maverick.’ As part of the world tour for their new album Artificial Paradise, which was released in July of this year, OneRepublic’s first concert in Korea in seven years will be a memorable way for fans to celebrate the new year in 2025.

KYGO, the artist who reached one billion streams in the shortest time in the history of the music platform Spotify and a headlining DJ at leading music festivals, will hold his first performance in Korea in seven years in the form of a mega-scale party on February 28, 2025, a Friday night and the start of a long weekend that includes a substitute public holiday for the Korean national holiday, March First Movement. Equipped with state-of-the-art sound and stage facilities, INSPIRE Arena is expected to deliver an intense experience that feels like an outdoor EDM festival, with spectacular video artwork and massive special effects.

Continuing the excitement, ZEDD, the DJ and producer celebrated as the next generation electronic music star for hit collaborations with numerous artists including Lady Gaga, will star the INSPIRE Concert Series #6, heating up the night on Saturday, March 1, next year.

After rising to prominence early on with a string of wins in remix contests on Beatport, the largest electronic music site in the U.S., ZEDD has captivated music fans around the world with hits like ‘Clarity (ft. Foxes),’ which own the 56th Grammy Award for Best Dance recording; ‘Stay the Night (ft. Hayley Williams),’ which has been streamed more than 1.3 billion times; and his collaboration with Ariana Grande, ‘Break Free,’ which peaked at No.4 on the Billboard Hot 100. His genre-defying music, including the 2016 League of Legends World Championship theme song ‘Ignite,’ has been streamed more than 36 billion times worldwide. Following the release of his new album Telos in August this year, ZEDD is set to deliver another unforgettable show at INSPIRE Arena with his sensational melodies and passionate live performance.

Meanwhile, Korea’s leading music awards show, Melon Music Awards (MMA), will welcome K-pop fans from around the world to the INSPIRE Arena again this year. MMA2024, which will be held on Saturday, November 30, will feature K-pop idol groups such as aespa, (G)I-DLE, IVE, RIIZE, BOYNEXTDOOR, etc., as well as popular K-pop artists such as BIBI and Lee Youngji, who have been strong on the music chart this year. INSPIRE and Kakao Entertainment, the operator of the music platform Melon, have partnered to ensure the success of MMA and collaborate on live content planning.

The 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon and 2024 SBS Trot Daejeon will be held over the Christmas holiday, each on December 25 (Wednesday) and 26 (Thursday). Top K-pop artists have been revealed as the performers at Gayo Daejeon, while Trot Daejeon, being held for the first time this year, will feature all of Korea’s leading trop singers for a music festival for all generations.

In addition, J-pop artists who have captivated Korean fans with their trendy character and charm will be performing in Korea at INSPIRE. First, the YOASOBI ASIA TOUR 2024-2025 will be held on December 7 (Sat) and 8 (Sun). Despite opening seats to twice the number of audiences from their previous performance in Korea, tickets to the leading J-pop artist’s upcoming concert were sold out within the first minute of sales, proving the enthusiastic response from Korean fans.

Further on, the Japanese super idol group Naniwa Danshi will hold their first concert in Korea and first Asia tour, NANIWA DANSHI ASIA TOUR 2024+2025 ‘+Alpha,’ at INSPIRE Arena on Saturday, January 11, and Sunday, January 12, over three performances. Naniwa Danshi is a popular seven-member boy group that debuted in 2021, which has gained significant recognition and attracted a large fan base in Korea. Naniwa Danshi will showcase their music and performances with a sophisticated stage composition that incorporates colorful video technology.

Last but not least, a K-pop artist’s concert is no exception at INSPIRE Arena. BOYNEXTDOOR, the group that became a million seller with their third mini album 19.99, will hold their first solo tour concert, BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol. 1,’ on December 14 (Sat) and 15 (Sun). Beginning with the concert at INSPIRE Arena, BOYNEXTDOOR will be going on a 13-city tour in Asia, expanding their fan base both at home and abroad with their honed music skills and unique performances.

“We are thrilled to present audiences visiting INSPIRE this winter with a stellar lineup of inspiring artists from a wide range of musical genres, both local and international, who are making their mark in their respective genres,” said Jamie Jang, General Manager of INSPIRE Arena. “As we approach our one-year anniversary, we hope that our ambitious lineup of performances, coupled with the abundance of events and amazing experiences at the resort throughout the winter season, will provide true all-in-one entertainment and spectacular holiday vibes,” he added.

Since its opening in December last year, INSPIRE Arena has successfully hosted a variety of events, including concerts by K-pop and international artists, sports and esports events, circus shows, and international forums, solidifying its position as Korea’s first multi-purpose arena. Its world-class sound system, stage facilities, and seating structure providing an unobstructed view, are acclaimed to enhance the performance and audience experience. In addition, the venue is located within an integrated resort, creating a new paradigm of concertgoing culture by linking various amenities such as accommodation, shopping, and dining with various experiences such as immersive media art and indoor and outdoor activities.
